Maintaining Brain Health

We all want to do what we can to keep our brain healthy - here is a fun video about things you can do to prevent memory loss - with an appearance by our neuropsychologist Debbie Anderson

In a nutshell - what you can do to aid healthy ageing:

  • Keep your brain stimulated -

learn something new (an instrument, a language) or play challenging games

  • Exercise

  • Eat Healthily

  • Get a good amount of sleep

  • Manage your medical conditions

If you are worried about a decline in your memory, you can have a neuropsychological assessment - which allows us to compare your results to others of the same age.  Its best to have a medical review first, you might have other conditions that can contribute.
